About UsCynde Gardner is a retired veterinarian who has gone on to become a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Certified Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor, a Baby Signs® Independent Certified Instructor and an On The Grow™ Educator. Cynde has obtained advanced training and certification in hypnotherapy through the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA), International Hypnosis Federation (IHF), the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT), Hypnobabies® and Baby Signs Inc. A number of years ago, Cynde was in a car accident that left her with severe neck, back and arm injuries that resulted in Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, a chronic pain syndrome. As a result of her special interest in chronic pain management without drugs, Cynde also became certified as both a Fibromyalgia practitioner and a Thoracic Outlet Syndrome practitioner. Cynde works in all areas of hypnotherapy and has helped numerous people enhance their physical, emotional, mental, and professional well-being. She is available for confidential private or group sessions. Early on, Cynde obtained a Master's Degree that focused on reproductive physiology. Her interest and love of all things baby and her training in hypnosis led her naturally to the wonderful Hypnobabies program. Cynde has a blast teaching this in-depth childbirth hypnosis education course. As a Hypnobabies® Childbirth Education Instructor, she would hear from her students as their wonderful babies grew how much they wanted to find out what their babies were thinking and wanting sooner, rather than later. Being the mother of two beautiful girls and grandma to three incredible little ones, she has also seen the frustration that an inability to communicate can cause in both the child and parents. She began looking into early communication with babies and discovered that various baby sign language programs were available. Research led me to the Baby Signs® Program. This program was the answer for her. Being a doctor, it was important that it was developed by two doctors and there was solid research behind this program. The research showed that teaching hearing babies' sign language so that they could communicate their needs, wants and interests before their speech centers were developed created a greater bond within the family and a wonderful head start on their language skills. It also reduces frustration in both the child and the parents. Having this solid early foundation in language skills increases their likelihood of developing strong reading and other academic skills as they reach school age. For more information contact Cynde
